Demystifying Dementia Care
At Fountainview at Gonda Westside, our memory care program helps individuals and their care partners overcome the challenges of living with dementia. Our memory care community — newly opened in beautiful Playa Vista, California — treats every member with dignified and person-centered care.
One of the primary goals of our program is to lessen the stigma associated with the illness, which can lead to diminished self-esteem and feelings of anxiety, as well as fear of judgement and the development of a sense of shame. Our program takes a holistic approach to these issues, and we partner with members and their families to get to know their personalities and preferences, so we can prepare an individualized service plan.
Our memory care community stands out because of:
- Our elegant and spacious indoor and outdoor garden settings.
- Our activities, which help members create meaningful moments and evoke positive memories.
- Our caring and knowledgeable round-the-clock staff.
- Our focus on holistic therapeutic programming and staff interaction to achieve calmness and contentment.
At Fountainview, we hold ourselves to the highest standards as we strive to surround our members and their families with exceptional services rooted in warmth, caring, compassion, and love.
