How is the Jewish Home supported?
Government reimbursement programs play an important role; however, there is a significant gap between what the government pays the Home and the costs of delivering the high level of care provided at the Home. Each year, the Home must raise at least $11 million from the community to continue our quality of care and programs.
Does the Jewish Home receive funds from the Jewish Federation?
No. The Jewish Home receives no funding from the Federation’s United Jewish Fund or any other national charitable organization. We rely entirely upon the generosity of individual donors, corporate donations, and foundations. This allows us to operate independently, ensuring the level of care we provide is as high as possible.
