Posted on 04/02/2018
When Irma Kavin decided to move to the Los Angeles Jewish Home at age 87, she had been living independently for years. “I decided to be proactive about my future by moving to the Home,” she explains. “Since coming here, I have been busy non-stop: knitting, painting, playing mahjongg, and making friends. The Home has provided me with a wonderful sense of community.” In this short video, Irma talks about her experience at the Jewish Home and what makes the Home so special.
